I used to count on every minute

Just to curse another day

I used to call myself a cynic

Another joke, another fray

Whatever beat, my heart’s not in it

Without a will there’s no way

No matter how hard I tried

I never knew what to do with myself, and my time… but now:

Rushing by in a blink of your eye – another day gone – on and on

And it’s you to propel the clock-hand: you turn the tide

I tried to swallow down a river

Just to kill another day

And bored myself to death and heartache

After-hours-after-decades, It felt like:

For every breath a suffocation

With every step another drag

No matter what and how I cried

Life would slide through my hands even if I could turn back the time… but now:
