"8 years of recording in a living room are definitely enough". That was the message behind the idea of Ewald Pfleger and Andy Fabianek of building a professional recording studio. Thus more than six year ago they started to plan the Recorder Music Studios.
Soon they had found a 120 years old farming house right in the heart of Judendorf-Straßengel, where since June 1992 Opus and friends had been working hard to build up a professional recording studio with a comfortable recreation area. Since that could not be done without professional advice, Peter Oswald from Landsberg/ Germany was signed for the acoustic design and Sepp Roschitz´s and Bernhard Kargl´s " Splitterwerk " for the architecture.
We also want to mention the community of Judendorf-Straßengel where Opus and many of their friends had found their home, which helped us out in many things.
In the meantime the two main engineers of the studio - Markus Eichl and Bernhard Thurner - got their "licence of perfect sound" and can already look back on lot of good experience in the Recorder Music Studios.
